Founded in December 1987 by George Rush and the late Norman Wilson, Asset Advisors believes in conservative, stable wealth management for clients to achieve their financial and personal goals while building a living legacy.

Before co-founding Asset Advisors, George served in the Capital Markets Group of NCNB Corporation. George held sales and trading roles in bond and interest rate swap markets, effectively managing market risk for the bank and corporate clients. Norman oversaw employee retirement assets at Morris Communications Corporation.

Using a long-term investment strategy in high-quality companies, George and Norman built their firm with a focus on personalized service to high-net-worth individuals and their families. They committed to construct portfolios by listening to the direction and needs of their clients and utilizing thorough research on leading companies in strong industries.

Since 2011, President George Rush and Vice-President Will Rice have led their team to become the largest independent wealth management firm in Augusta, Ga, with over $1 billion in assets under management.
